If you are looking for a polymer with a smooth, shiny and strong surface against any environmental and atmospheric factors, the ReMo team offers you PMMA.
Introduction
It is a synthetic thermoplastic resin that is the product of polymerization of methyl methacrylate monomer. Polymethyl methacrylate is a hard and transparent plastic that is used instead of glass in many places such as bulletproof windows, skylights, glow signals and aircraft canopies.
PMMA was widely used in the manufacture of aircraft windshields, canopies and turrets. After this, several other commercial applications were developed for PMMA, such as glass roofing, facade design, advertising, headlights, and so on.
Vehicles, PMMA sheets are used in car windows, motorcycle windows, interior and exterior panels, fenders, etc. Also, colored acrylic sheets are used in car headlight covers, interior covers, etc. PMMA also creates new possibilities for automakers due to its acoustic properties, excellent ductility and excellent surface hardness.
